Description:

Do you want to be part of an award winning team? Do you want to be part of a fast growing company with exceptional growth potential? Campus Dining & Shops has an exciting opportunity for seasoned General Managers or Assistant General Managers to oversee our food services operations.

Our formal name is The Faculty Student Association of the State University of New
York at Buffalo! Whew! You can see why we refer to ourselves as UB Campus Dining and Shops! We are a not-for-profit company contracted by UB for over 50 years to provide a variety of non-academic services to the campus. U.B. is a smoke-free campus.

 

Every day we serve approximately 25,000 meals to the U.B. community - students, faculty, UB staff, our employees, and visitors. We operate dining centers and snack bars in resident halls for the students who live on campus, food courts and grab-and-go cafes near the classrooms, concession stands at concerts and athletic events, and we cater
everything from morning department meetings to upscale receptions and sit down dinners. We even have our own full-scale bakery, so you can imagine the variety of jobs we have to offer

Qualifications:

-Two to three years senior level foodservice management experience, or relevant management in other large and multi-unit dynamic restaurant environment is required

-Proven track record of successfully controlling financial costs and managing annual budgets exceeding $2 to $3 million dollars preferred

-Senior level management knowledge of  financial analysis, budget management, and financial systems/applications

-Strong technical skills with significant senior level knowledge of food production and food safety in a full service restaurant environment.
Working knowledge of
OSHA, ADA, County Health, County Fire Codes

-Demonstrated ability to develop cooperative working relationships with multiple individuals, groups, and student communities
